Spitfires Win Quickstrike Tourney

Spitfires Champions at 
Quickstrike Tourney!

The Saratoga Spitfires recently competed in the Quickstrike 9 v 9 tournament at the Hudson Valley Sports Dome January 31st, 2009.  In their bracket, they played Prime Time from Long Island and LaGrange SC Lightning and Shrub Oak Legends from downstate NY, defeating all three teams. 

The Saratoga Spitfires recently competed in the Quickstrike 9 v 9 tournament at the Hudson Valley Sports Dome January 31st, 2009.  In their bracket, they played Prime Time from Long Island and LaGrange SC Lightning and Shrub Oak Legends from downstate NY, defeating all three teams.  They then faced the winner from the opposing bracket, the Patriots FC 95's, a Premier team from Eastchester, NY.  The Spitfires defeated them 1-0 in an exciting and well-played game to win the Quickstrike tournament, their first tournament this year outside of the Capital Region.
